Spring into Summer- May Edition

It's that time of year again. Bikinis out, jumpers away, and days of last minute panicking to find the right summer outfits. Well, fear not, my friends, because this year, I've got you covered!

All the items in this May edition Summer outfit have come from Primark and the outfit itself can all be purchased within a budget of €50. I know, amazing right? So round up the babysitting money-it's time to go shopping!

For this look, I wanted something simple, but yet I wanted to make a statement. I will include links for anybody who wants to check out the items further.

Yellow front tie crop top

The first item that I chose was this yellow tie front crop top. I like this because I find the colour bright and a good start to Summer! I happen to have this at home but with a different pattern and I know they're SUPER comfy. AND, they're only €3.50 ! You can check out the one I already have here:

White denim shorts

The next item I chose for my outfit were these high-waisted white denim shorts that are frayed at the end. I absolutely ❤ these special much because you can wear them with literally anything because of the colour. They are perfect and bright for Summer. I love how simple they are but yet the detail on the frays and buttons makes it interesting. These are €13 !

White sandals

I chose these basic white sandals because I love that you can also wear these with anything. I really like the metal detail on the front and I think it adds to the simplicity of this item. They cost €6 !

White floral bag

My friends, the moment has arrived. This, is the aMAYzing statement piece that I have selected for you. From the moment I saw this bag, I knew it was the one. I fell in love with the vibrant pattern and I feel it is perfect for MAY. It is bright, it is colourful, it is Summer. While some people may be controversial and argue that the pattern would clash with the top, I don't believe this is true. I think the 2 patterns compliment each other when they are alongside each other! And even better, you can pick this up for only €14 !!!!!

Bracelets

I didn't want to overcomplicate this outfit because it thrives on simplicity, so I just chose these very simple bracelets. I think the colours in the bag will bring out the colours in the jewelery. They are cheap aswell at only  €4 !

This whole outfit worked out at €40.50 . Going by our budget, that means there's €10 left over. Treat yourself!

"Eye" love Lucyfitzmakeup

This fabulous lool is perfect for a night out. The glitter on the eyelids really catches the light and would really be amazing with any outfit!

For this chic look Lucy used C&C cosmetic glitter. I love this because it is girly yet bold. I would accompany this style with either pink or silver clothing!

This look is quite similar to the first one, however, the silver pigment is a great contrast to the darker shadow used with it. The silver is really distinctive and although  it is simple and requires minimal shades it is very versatile!

Product review: Misslyn True Colour Eyeshadow Base

I recently received this eyeshadow base as a gift and I cannot say how much I love it already!  

True Colour Eyeshadow Base

 I find it so useful doing my makeup as it intensifies the eyeshadow colour you place over it and it helps your eyeshadow to look flawless all day!

I also love this product because you can use it without putting eyeshadow over it. This creates a brightened look around your eyes and can be used as a highlighter for your inner corners. 

Its skin compatability is dermatologically approved and is suitable for sensitive skin. I cannot recommend this product enough. I also know that it is on sale at an affordable price.

The Perfect Outfit For Less (Pt. 2)

As you may already know from my previous post, this is the second in a two-part series of buying fab outfits for less!

This outfit was inspired by the fact that it has just snowed and reminded me that there's still 2 weeks of Winter left!

I found this AMAZING knitted poncho on Boohoo.com and even though it is the priciest of my items I think it is a 29 euro well spent. You can wear a top of your preference underneath!

I chose these pale blue high waist skinny jeans jeans from New Look for 15 euro reduced from 24.99 euro. They look super comfy and are something every girl needs in their closet.

As it is still Winter, I felt that a knitted beanie wouldn't go astray, so I chose this grey on to match the poncho. It costs 7.99 euro and you can find it at New Look.

To finish off my outfit, I added these simple, white, lace up, canvas shoes from Primark for 6 euro.

I love this outfit because it is something comfortable enough to wear for lounging around the house yet fashionable enough to wear for strolling around town.

The total cost of this outfit was 62.99 euro

The Perfect Outfit For Less👊💋

So, Christmas has flown by yet again, all our money has been spent on gifts for our loved ones, and now we're left with the dilemma of finding new outfits......for half the price. Instead of rushing around the sales trying to put together outfits I've done the work for you!

This first outfit is a must have for anyone who wants a casual/dressy look for going out.

I think that this bodysuit, off-the-shoulder top is really cute and is made from a comfortable, stretchy material. I found it in New Look for 22 euro.

 I decided that this bodysuit would go well with something plain and simple because I didn't want to take away from the decorative frill. I chose this sand-coloured, jersey mini skirt on Boohoo.com for 5 euro.

 I found these amazing lace-up ankle boots at New Look for 29.99 euro on sale from 39.99 euro!

The accessories I chose to pair with this outfit were this gold chevron stone choker for 7.99 euro and this cream coloured over the shoulder clutch for 11.24 euro, both from New Look.

I really enjoyed picking out this outfit and I found it to be good value for the total cost: 76.22 euro. You would get great use out of it because it is flexible for all occasions!
